Hi Guys,
Welcome to my vedic astrology research portal, and i am going to clarify another very demanding article of vedic astrology known as " Vipreeta Raja Yoga ".
I know maximum peoples are not aware about actual meaning of raj yoga’s, they just print horoscope from software or through any online astrology website and start searching about raja yoga, however they don’t know what raja yoga signifies in horoscope, As few points I have already clarified in my previous articles are like, Even beggar's has many raja yoga in their charts and having raja yoga in horoscope in not a guarantee of royal life.
Life of every one has been mapped in 12 houses of horoscope-
Any planets sitting in anywhere in any sign or house create one good or bad yoga and Every yoga has its own way of affecting peoples life, Same yoga can’t give same results to every person, anyways I will describe more about raja Yogas in details in my separate article.
But today i will reveal some unknowing facts about Vipreeta Raja Yoga, which you can’t find over internet or in any ancient text book, because this all information is coming from my long research and practical life knowledge.
So why I decided to write about Vipreeta raja because this is the yoga which makes native life very worse and painful and even like hell, and won’t give its result without creating drama in person’s life because this yoga comes from Most three bad houses of horoscope which 6th, 8th ,and 12th.
You can read more about this raja yoga by using Google however as I always want to write something which are not available in internet or in any text book.
So let’s discuss in details –
Vipreeta is a Hindi Word which means “Ulta/Opposite” or in English you can say "reversal"
And as far as I read on ancient text book, There are three kinds of Vipreeta Raja Yogas exist in Vedic system -
1 - Harsha Vipreeta Raja Yoga
2 - Saral Vipreeta Raja Yoga
3 - Vimal Vipreeta Raja Yoga
First one is - Harsh Vipreet Raj Yoga - By the placement of 6th lord in 6th, 8th or 12th houses this yoga is formed in the horoscope, refer below example -
Example -1
In above Chart 6th lord Venus sitting in 12th house...
Its results (As per ancient Text) – If anyone has this raja yoga so person achieve victory on his or her enemies, becomes one of the influential personality in the society, also blessed with good friends, family, Spouse and children’s. He would be very wealthy, famous, and endowed with all luxuries.
Second is Saral Vipreet Raj Yoga, By the placement of 8th lord in 6th, 8th or 12th house this yoga is formed, refer below horoscope for example -
Example - 2
In above case, 8th Lord Moon into 8th house itself.
Its results (As per ancient Text) – Person has the ability to fight adversity with great strength, very bold personality like ruler, wealthy, famous. Being idealist and efficient decision makers.
Third is Vimal Vipreeta Raj Yoga, by placement of 12th lord in 6th, 8th or 12th house this yoga is formed.
Example -3
In above chart 12th lord Saturn is sitting in 6th house in retrograde position with sixth lord moon which is also forming another Vipreeta Yoga.
Its results (As per ancient Text) – Person would independent, good at accumulating money. He lives a just and pious life and makes an appreciable contribution towards the society. He is known for honorable profession, good behavior and moral nature, almost like a ruler along with all luxury.
It is said that where ever bad houses Lords (6th, 8th and 12th houses lord) sits in the horoscope so they destroy that house, like 6th lord sitting in 8th or 12th so it will destroy 8th house or 12th house things (Means negativity of 8th or 12th houses gets destroyed), That's what this yoga comes into the picture.
So the definitions which I wrote above are correct as per ancient text, however as per my practical experience I am not agree with the results mentioned above or mentioned in ancient text and almost in all online articles which are available over internet.…

Few more points which I read online but found totally wrong as per my observation -
Like To get profit of this raja yoga, lord of 6, lord of 8 or lord of 12 must occupy bhava-6, bhava-8 or bhava-12 and -The L-6,8,12 should not be L-1+ L-5, or L-9.
And wherein the Vipreeta Raja Yoga occurs (in 6th, 8th, or in 12) no temporal beneficial planet should be present in these Bad Houses (Means L-1+L-5+L-9+L-10 should not be in 6th, 8th and 12th).
I will show you few horoscopes below which proves above points to invalid..
Another false statement is - This Yoga has no use if L-6 in 6, L-8 in 8, or L-12 in 12 (which is totally incorrect) See the below chart of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan (Film Super Star) -
Example -4
In above chart, 8th lord mercury sitting into 8th house itself along with Venus, Sun and Mars. he gets set backs but he also recovered all the loses and won the situation. (Thats what the Vipreeta Raja Yoga, as the person loses but regain's it).
All red marked points does not seems valid in modern astrology as there are many astrological formula from ancient text which are no more valid and require corrections...You can see many examples below in same article where 6th lord in 6th, 8th lord in 8th and 12th lord in 12 has favored a lot, Because no planets can destroy its own house!!!
But Remember, This raja yoga is not a guarantee of royal life in each case, or not going to make you multi-millionaire in each case, neither promises higher education nor moral and good looking spouse, Because even single horoscope is a combination of many yogas, however yoga for good wife, Good Money or Good Education are different which i will describe later in my upcoming articles, so please never expect everything from single Raja Yoga, however very imp point is that it creates an impact on your personal and professional life both. It means if you are getting success so both part will equal improve or if facing issue so both personal and professional life will suffer.
And if somebody have this yoga in their birth chart (D-1), than that person has to face its good or bad results (Good or bad that depends on the planetary placement), Because this yoga has no cancellation and definitely shows its effect.
So what this yoga is all about?
So guys Vipreeta Raja Yoga has different way to affect person's life, it’s all about “once Status and Power in the society” that’s it.
Note - Above theory is applicable for both the Genders (Male and Female).
To show you the clear picture, Again I would like to share Karmic Truth behind this Yoga -
Karmic
means the Deeds which you have done in your past life, because you
can’t deny that your entire life has been based on your previous life
deeds.
So as per the karmic theory "Who gets Vipreeta Raja yoga and why it comes in our chart???
So
Vipreeta Raja Yoga has two words in it “Vipreeta + Raja Yoga = Vipreeta
Rajayoga”, As you all know that our all sufferings has been mapped in
three bad house (6th, 8th and 12th) which signify Vipreeta (Negative
Life) Yoga, and Rajayoga signify something good in it (Which is known as
reversal).
In previous birth, Anyone who bear pain for others, Help others in their bad time but still didn't get any credit for his or her good cause, Just accepting odds in life to make others happy and still happily serving others, Gets rewarded by destiny as Vipreeta Raja Yoga.
However if you were getting suffered for your blood relatives in your previous birth so in present birth you get higher position or higher rank and will earn name for your family (Means you could be in the top in your family), however if you have suffered for others like nation fighters and doing something which is very good for human being than such peoples actually gets real rewards from this yoga. (these effects are visible in your horoscope by the planetary placement).
Note - Above theory is applicable for Both Genders (Male and females).
So despite of your all other
bad karma of your previous life, in your next birth you will get
rewarded by the destiny through Vipreeta Raja yoga which supports in certain odd time when you feel you lost your life but sudden path
will appear to move ahead, So Simple significance of Vipeeta Rajayoga
is “Your life will come on the track with the time, when you will feel lost, Life will give you the way to move further – ”
I have seen in most of the cases, by the presence of Vipreeta raja yoga, persons are loosing the things but regaining the same again later in life and known as fighter of life.

Like
if its Harsha Yoga, (6th house present job) suppose if someone is not
getting job and gets very frustration but later a sudden vacancy may
occur in a desirable position. And someone will call you to join
desirable job.
Or
if is Saral Yoga, Something sudden will happen in unexpected way, But
The person who is acting as per the planets can get sudden success like
someone is regular trying to get an admission but not getting and when
he lost his all hopes sudden he gets an envelope for admission from the
university.
I have seen in many cases of VPRY, Person faces suffering in 80 % of the life but in remain 20 % they can recover the loses by the help of this yoga.
Because its create frustration in person’s life so anyone one who has Vipreeta Raja yoga, their life will be a part of severe suffering, Because Vipreeta Raja yoga is clear indication of sufferings in personal and professional Life (You can't escape suffering anyhow), However profit of having this raja yoga is that "Later or sooner your life will come into track but after several drama and mental harassment".
Like an example a man who is losing his house in the morning however reaching home in evening so you cannot say him a loser as If a person realize his mistake, he cannot be called wrong!!!
Its gives results very slow and at some point you will feel like your life is not moving ahead, however you will achieve you destination very slowly along with several frustration, Your life will move like below graph -
However it’s also not applicable in everyone charts also, all three Yoga (Harsh, Saral, and Vimal) has different way of working, and results will come to pass in involved arena only like involved houses and lords, signs and Nakshatra and their Degree, Overall power etc.

In Another way, Few also gets very booming output like sudden winning Indian Idol, Winning KBC Lottery and becomes overnight star during Maha Dasha or Antar Dasha of VPRY Causing planets, however such booming effect also gets disappeared very soon -

Main question is why so much sudden drama and why everyone don't get such a booming results even after having this Raja Yoga in their Horoscope ?
So before moving ahead i would like to tell you, such a historical winning is not a reward of only VPRY, because all nine planets are always in transit and activating many situations for you, also there are many raja yoga's also which are working together to make you supper successful or super flop...!!
Now see astrologically what happened in his case, Mr. Harold Diamond, A retired principal went to market to buy a sandwich (He had no interest in lottery), but his wife ( Which is Venus ) asked him to bring a lottery (things related to Rahu which is Karaka for gambling, lottery..etc..and also Karaka for sudden gains...etc..), he bought a tickets for lottery and sudden luck favored (which is actual nature of Vipreeta Raja yoga) and he won "$326million jackpot" at sudden (Where 3rd, 5th & 8th house and their lords support required to get such a huge windfall). So can you imagine "To get such a large win how many things are working together, however astrologers giving entire credit to VPRY...!!!!
Hence never think if you have VPRY so you will get windfall in your life or you will get higher rise in career suddenly unless or until other planets and situations are not supporting you, as even you know very well "No one can win a world cup by one player only"... No...Never...In a same way single Raja yoga cant give everything and there are many situation's and favorable planets works together to brings such a auspicious situation in your life...hence overall chart analysis always needed..!!!

And such things also require support of powerful Navamsa Chart, VPRY taste your capability throughout life than giving much at sudden, But you dont need to wait for maha dasha or antar dasha always as It can show its power even in small Pratyantar Dasha, where it gives booming effects in such small time (Pratyantar Dasha is smaller time then Mahadasha & Antar Dasha).
Another important point is, Getting sudden unexpected success also creates many issues in life, suppose due to VPRY you won the election and become ministers but what if your opponent are making so much disturbances in your work area (which is happening almost in every field these days) hence remember to feel this booming effect other rajayoga's which are available in the horoscope should equally supportive to the person (Because remember getting things are different but enjoying them are another).
So Its always up to your luck whether you are going to enjoy the situation given by VPRY or not, because as far as i know, Everyone cant enjoy these -
VPRY (If Beneficial in horoscope), mostly comes into picture for very short time and person sudden touches top heights in unexpected ways, Like one sitting in KBC Wins a millions and becomes overnight stars in very short time however they have not expected it before few time back in his life.
If someone has done something very good in their previous life then definitely they are going to get fruit of that deeds as booming success at sudden in unexpected manners.
As per Karmic theory, helping someone in
unexpected way gives booming unexpected gains through this Vipreeta Raja Yoga,
But make sure it does not make king to everyone in every case (Everything is depends on your deeds). Which you can observe through overall analysis of your horoscope (Astrology tells everything but person need guts and capability to read the destiny).
Suppose
you helped one blood cancer patient who has no money to save his life
however you helped him suddenly and donated money for his entire
treatment (which was not expected by him), Or the person who is bagging
for food even and sudden you donated him a million dollar (Which was
unexpected gains & support for him), and due to this his entire life
got sudden changed. So these goods deeds comes as rewards in your next
birth and despite of misfortunes it creates rajayoga in the horoscope
and cause booming success.

Another Form of Vipreeta Raja Yoga is when lord of 6th, 8th and 12 lords conjunct each other in one house, But in such case there should be one benefic aspect is mandatory to save your life form such evil conjunction because in this case plants kills each other and create sufferings, but benefic aspect can save you and can turn it into a Raja yoga -
Such combination creates Arishta Yoga if bereft any benefic aspect, If one planets will give you good opportunity then other will pull the leg and will create situation for failure, Because where ever these evil lords sits that house may suffer a lot but one benefic positive influence can change the entire game and results may turn negative to positive, refer below chart …
Example - 5
See above example of Operah Winfray Chart, 8th and 12th lord are sitting together in 12 house and getting aspected by jupiter from sixth house.
As we know she has struggled a lot, she got raped many times in childhood, Had very worse childhood but Later created a history and became Rag to Riches icon...
Same happened if 6th, 8th and 12th lords are aspecting each other so again here one positive influence require to save from this negative energy, and if you have such position in your horoscope so you can feel the effect.

Above chart belongs to indian nation father Mahatma Gandhi, In his case - 6th lord, 8th lord and 12th lord are aspecting each other, However venus being 8th & Lagna Lord and Mercury being 9th & 12th Lord getting aspected by Jupiter. He is known as legend of india.
Vipreeta Raja yoga also occurs when 6th, 8th and 12th lord goes into exchanging sign -

One who has this yoga, is surely going to face many sufferings, (You can't enjoy good effect throughout life but sufferings won’t leave you till the time you are alive).
One thing more which I have seen in maximum cases, is that it shows its results when persons loses their all hopes in their life to become successful and sudden situation start giving favor to the native.
Suppose if you want to travel abroad but not getting any chances and lost all hopes and after lot of frustration but when you have no hopes and got sudden opportunity to work in abroad. that's what the drama of this yoga.
So Do not place all your faith on Vipreeta because even if you have it.
And it is of no use to you if it is profited when you are eighty years old or after you died. I know many people who wasted their lives doing nothing hoping for Raja yoga to benefit them. So you will not get benefit unless you work for it (Deeds are always primary).
See basically success is a long journey and never comes sudden however the person who always want to achieve their aim even after lot of odds and failure and if destiny rewards them with booming success so i think they deserve it. Everybody who has any kind of Vipreeta Raja Yoga has suffered a lot in their life but only few becomes Star because they have shining capability and and courage to fight with destiny (Which comes from other planets and other Raja Yoga).
Lets have few more examples of the person who have Vipreeta Raja Yoga in their charts and they have achieved great success in their life -
Example - 7
Even having very great Parivartan Yoga between Jupiter and Mercury Mr. Khanna also had very strong Powerful Vipreeta Raja Yoga, As 6th Lord mars in 6th house, and 8th Lord Saturn in 12th house. Even he has got great fame later in his life but everybody knows he was sufferings through bad effect of Vipreeta yoga and struggled a lot throughout his life till End (Above horoscope belongs to Indian Film first super star Rajesh Khanna ji).
Example - 8
In above chart of Tamil super star Rajni kant, Moon Being 12th Lord sitting into 6th house. So even Rajnikant ji is a Super Star but as you know he was a truck driver before coming into film industry, and still facing many ongoing concern which local people don't know. Next birth chart belongs to -
Example - 9
Indian Cricketer Ravi Shastri, In above case 12 Lord Mars is sitting in 12 th house itself and contributing in his life.
See guys i have seen many charts to write this article and did practical in many horoscopes and found again there is no hard and fast rule for get huge success, i cant assure which planets act very good in in Vipreeta Raja Yoga because i have seen all planets are equally capable to make or destroy your life...Actually we see charts of celebrities hence we say this yoga do this, But trust me when you will observe charts of local and simple people so even after having Vipreeta Rajayoga they are just suffering only (Specially Females), So everyone who has this yoga in their horoscope are getting suffering a lot but who don't loose hope gets the success for sure.
Example - 10
Take example of above case - She is one of my friend shifted abroad after marriage, 12 lord Venus sitting in 6th house along with 7th (she got married with an NRI), and have very strong influence on 12th house, But even having everything she feel her life is like hell because she has no good relationship with her husband and involve in extra sexual affair with another man. (7th lord in 6th house quite strong indication for bad marriage).
So beware while doing such analysis because alone rajayoga cant make entire life good and bad, because if any female have Vipreeta Raja yoga in her horoscope so you also can see badly affected 7th house and lords which causes marital issues.
